When Kelly Forsyth-Gibson, mother of three from Scotland, went looking around for a protective hat for her head-bumping toddlers, she could find none. So she invented her own. The Thudguard is a lightweight helmet that protects kids from everyday knocks and bruises. Little holes are strategically placed to allow ventilation and an adjustable chinstrap makes it easy to fit it to your kid’s head. Sold for kids aged 7 months to 2 years, you can purchase or read more about it here
